"Now to psychiatrist and MD...." - Nancy Grace
Yeah, last time I checked they were the same thing.

Another One Bites the Dust
So that iPhone that I love. Yeah, it is no more. Stupid thing crashed last night when I was trying to update the new software. It went into recovery mode, but won't actually let me recover it. I spent two hours....TWO HOURS...on the phone with techs this morning. After working on my computer, another user name, and a totally different computer, it was pretty much determined it was a hardware issue. I have an appointment at the Apple Store tonight where hopefully they will replace it. I am totally anticipating a headache. So for now, I'm phoneless. The worst part, I'm probably going to have to print out directions to this place because I'm googlemapless. Ugh, so 1990's.

I really wanted me to come back to bed this morning, too. At least it's Friday!

My Favorite Things
To keep my blog semi-interesting or really to keep me writing, I'm starting My Favorite Things. If Oprah can do it, so can I. The best part, I'm super cheap and I don't have any where near Oprah's money, so all my likes will be economical if even purchasable. The bad part, I don't get to yell "And you're all getting OOOOONNNNNNEEEE" and they magically appear for you. So you'll have to survive with pictures. This was part of my Christmas gift last year from Shannon. And I'm pretty much addicted. I'm not a coffee drinker and if two years of med school didn't turn me into one, I never will be. But I do like hot chocolate and chai tea. This concentrate is easy and absolutely delicious. Just add milk and heat or not. And it's organic and kosher, if that's your thing. Yep, heaven.

Wow, where to begin?
Well I feel off the blogger bandwagon, but I'm back on. At least until my life becomes non-entertaining and I have nothing to write about. Who am I kidding, it isn't ever.
I guess the big news is we bought another house only about a mile and a half from our other house! We moved in over thanksgiving after spending time cleaning and painting with the help of my parents. I love the open floor plan, big backyard, and most importantly the garage so I don't have to freeze every morning (it's in the back of the house and not in the picture)! Most importantly, the cat loves it. She told me so. Now if we can just ever get out of boxes, it will be a success. At least then you'll get to see pictures.
We made it out to Ohio for the holidays. My parents got a Wii and we played it a lot. I am now going through withdrawal. Seeing as there is a Guitar Hero sitting in the family room that is currently unplayable...I'm thinking we'll be getting one soon :) It was great to see everyone.
We also stopped in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids on the way home. After some great laughs with our friends Scott and Ricki, HuHot, and a flat tire, we made it back to Kansas City.
I won my fantasy football league! Belligerent Midget lives in infamy.
And now it's back to lab work for me. I'm only taking one class, which shouldn't be more than 1 hour/week. So I can actually get stuff done now. Yay!
So those are all the updates I think. Now back to my normal random postings!
