lost it's zipper this morning.  It will be retired from my rotational wardrobe, but I can't promise it won't rear it's head around the house on weekends or on weekly Walmart trips.  I can hear your cheers now.

Note for everyone else:  She hate, hate, hates this shirt.  She's made it blatantly known, many times.  She's even bought other shirts in an attempt to replace it to no avail.  If I lived at home still, I'm sure it would have had a tragic laundry bleach accident long ago.

Looks like I won't be grocery shopping tonight. At least Hyvee wasn't on fire, which means I'll be coming home with only ice cream, bread, and pork chops. Great.

Beautiful sunset to end the day. Not as great as some of my parent's photos from Florida, but will have to suffice for Kansas. We're in the theater waiting for Grand Toreno to start. Had a great day with my love! Happy Valentine's to all!

Uh, When Did I Get Old?

I'm showing my age when the highlight of my day is getting not one, but TWO rainchecks for cheese at an amazing price.  

And then, after my small victory at Hyvee, I'm sitting in traffic trying to get home.  The Blazer next to me has two bumper stickers in the rear window:

1. The proud parent of a fantastic kid.

2. I love my badass attitude.

Looks like some other people need to grow up, too.  And they actually have a reason.
